Help Us Train Trauma Therapists and Expand Access to Care
At Northwest Mental Health Alliance, we are committed to making trauma therapy accessible—not just for clients, but for the next generation of therapists.
Our licensed therapists accept insurance so clients can access care. But that also means our internship program is financially supported by us—not by the work itself.
We believe training high-quality trauma therapists matters. And we’re committed to doing it well, even when it’s not the most profitable path.
Your donation helps bridge that gap.
It allows us to:
Train interns in EMDR and trauma-informed care
Provide supervision and mentorship
Equip them with the tools they need to do this work well
Keep therapy accessible for clients who rely on insurance
NWMHA is a 501c3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.
Why Give? We’ve chosen a path that prioritizes access over profit.
Accepting insurance allows more people to receive care—but it also limits what the practice generates.
At the same time, interns don’t produce enough revenue to fund their own training and support.
We’ve made the decision to invest in both:
Accessible care for clients
High-quality training for future therapists
Your support helps make that sustainable.
Thank you!
