Meet the Team

Every therapist here works within an active supervision structure — not as a formality, but as a clinical standard. Kevin and Linda review cases weekly with every supervised graduate therapist on staff. At least two sets of eyes on every client. That's not typical. We do it because EMDR done without oversight is how people get hurt.

Our Team

Clinical leadership

Kevin St. Jacques, PsyD, LMHCClinical Director · EMDRIA Certified Therapist · Approved Consultant-in-Training

One of the most experienced EMDR clinicians in the region. Kevin has been practicing EMDR longer than most therapists in the area have known it existed — which means he's seen nearly every presentation, every stuck point, and every place where the protocol needs clinical judgment rather than just technique. Direct, structured, and focused on real outcomes. Works with adults and older teens navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, and high-stress roles.

Linda Smith, MA, LMHC Director of Operations · EMDRIA Certified Therapist · Approved Consultant

Linda built NWMHA because she kept seeing a gap between what EMDR could do and what clients were actually receiving. She still sees clients — she's not just working behind the scenes. Warm, grounded, and direct. Works with adults carrying trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that feel impossible to shift, especially people who've felt like traditional therapy didn't quite fit them.

Therapists

Paulina Butler

Paulina Butler, MA, LMFTA

Fifteen years in biotech before pivoting to therapy - which means she understands high-functioning stress, burnout, and the particular weight of careers that look fine from the outside.

Paulina specializes in EMDR for children, teens, and families.

Neurodivergent-affirming.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Supervised graduate therapists

Our supervised graduate therapists are master's-level clinicians completing their graduate degrees through competitive programs. They were selected specifically for this practice, trained in EMDR from the ground up under Kevin and Linda's direct supervision, and held to a clinical standard higher than most licensed practitioners encounter in their careers.

If you're matched with a supervised graduate therapist, you're not getting a less experienced version of care. You're getting someone who has been trained specifically for this work, who hasn't had years to develop bad habits, and who is actively supervised every week by two EMDRIA-approved consultants.

Sessions with supervised graduate therapists are available on a sliding scale starting at $35.
